The brief
Demolish the spa wing of a former hotel to make way for an extension to create a substantial 5 bedroom house with a large detached garage
The outcome
The outcome was a fantastic living space that our client was very happy to sell on to the new homeowner. This project also including exterior landscaping and completion of the driveway, all in keeping with what was already there, therefore there were brick match requirements, structural reinforcement to utilise the existing manor house.
Additional challenges here were the fact that it backs on to an orchard with a large wildlife population, so there were conservation issues around this project, meaning we had to be considerate around noise, materials used and access.
